Role Description

Worldwide Radiology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to assist with bookkeeping tasks. As a Bookkeeper for Worldwide Radiology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Your work will directly support our mission to provide vital healthcare services to underserved communities around the world.

Responsibilities

Maintain Financial Records: Record financial transactions, including donations, expenses, and grants, in Xero accounting software.
Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
Expense Tracking: Track and categorise expenses to provide a clear overview of where funds are allocated.
Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the organisation's budget to ensure expenses align with the financial plan.
Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports and statements for the organisation's leadership and board of directors.
Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing financial documents and records for annual audits or financial reviews.
Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using Xero accounting software.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
