In this interview, Dr Karen Chetcuti, radiologist and project lead at Worldwide Radiology, shares insights into the organisation’s work in Malawi.

Karen explains how Worldwide Radiology collaborates with Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) to support the development of radiology services and training in the country.

She discusses the importance of working alongside volunteers, and her decision to take on the development of the MMed Radiology Residency Programme, a key initiative aimed at training the first cohort of homegrown Malawian radiologists.

This video highlights the power of international collaboration, long term partnerships, and sustainable training models in strengthening healthcare systems in resource-limited settings.
